NullDC DreamCast Emulator PS3 Port Update, BiOS Operational

Update: Some pictures along with a video (below) are actually available from the NullDC Dreamcast emulator running on PS3 for all those interested!

Last week we reported news that drk||Raziel is focusing on porting the Sega DreamCast emulator NullDC to Sony’s PS3, now he reports how the BiOS is operational and running!

Talking with PSGroove.com (linked above), http://drk.emudev.org/blog states, to quote: “Letsee .. oh wait, it cross compiled ! *yay* for uber portable code ;p Interpreter only / underclock 4x / no pvr rendering / no audio / no input. Bios intro runs fine, then gets about the clock dialog screen. YAY !”

Currently it’s produced on the PS3 Debug unit because of its remote debugging, however the code will operate on Retail PS3 consoles too. Below may be the log declare those curious, cool news indeed!
