Download all the files in the description. Step 2. Get a USB Stick, create a folder called “PS3″ and then in the PS3 folder make another folder called “UPDATE”. Step 3. After steps 1 and 2 are complete copy the OFFICIAL update into the folder called “UPDATE”. Step 4. Unplug your USB From your pc and plug it into your PS3. Navigate to the system tab on the xmb, go to system update, chose the option other than via internet. Follow the steps and install the 3.55. (If you already have it installed you must do this again!) Step 5. Plug your USB into your pc and in the “UPDATE” Folder replace the OFFICIAL update.pup file with the jailbroken one. Then Plug your USB into your PS3. Step 6. Now once again go to the system tab, then go to system update, Chose the other option to via internet, Then follow the steps to install the new update (Jailbreak). Step 7. Once thats done, CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE JUST JAILBROKEN YOUR PS3 SYSTEM ON 3.55 FIRMWARE! (Continue onto the next few steps to learn how to install a FTP Server so that you can put on a Challenge lobby patch etc. Step 8.
